It doesn’t matter if you are from the city, the suburbs or the country, or whether you are rich or poor, everyone needs quick access to new knowledge and research. Lifelong learning is imperative for all people, especially with the present magnitude and dynamics of new knowledge, technological, environmental, social and economic concerns.

Extension and outreach efforts in Animal Science meet that challenge to help all people reach their potential. Every day, our scientists engage the public in this learning process. The sharing of new information through meetings, publications, seminars and from web-based resources allows our department to impact the world.
